Can I choose when my order will be delivered?

When orders are placed you can choose your preferred week to have your package delivered. As orders come in a week may sell out for delivery availability. You will be able to choose from the remaining available weeks for delivery. All deliveries are weather dependent. If weather does not cooperate to allow for deliveries and set-ups on a particular day, adjustments will be made. We do our very best to accommodate your delivery week preference, but we can’t make guarantees. 

Do I need to be home when you deliver and/or set-up my package?

No, you do not need to be home. When we organize our set-ups and drop offs, we do so based on delivery location to be as efficient as possible. We are unable to schedule a delivery time. A day or two prior to your set-up we will send a message letting you know the day we plan on delivering your package. If that should change, we will be in contact with you.

What package is best for my space?

How few or many pumpkins you want is personal preference. However, if you are looking for recommendations you can reach to us and send a picture of the space you want decorated and we can give suggestions.

Where do you deliver packages to?

We deliver packages to the greater Des Moines area and surrounding suburbs and towns. You can email us at contact@seasonalporchesiowa.com to confirm available delivery in your area.

Will you pick-up my set-up at the end of the season?

End of season pick-up is available for an additional fee. If you purchase end of season pick-up you can choose the preferred week you would like your package picked up. Pick-ups are weather dependent much like deliveries. We will do our best to accommodate your pick-up week preference but cannot guarantee it. When we pick-up your order we will clear everything away and do our best to clean up.

How do I care for my package set-up?

We do our very best to bring high quality pumpkins. However, no two pumpkins are the same. All will have irregularities and different shapes. Because of that, as well as unpredictable weather, we cannot guarantee the life of the pumpkins. We are not able to replace pumpkins that begin to rot before the end of the season.

Do you provide set-ups for special events or businesses?

Yes, we do! Please email us at contact@seasonalporchesiowa.com to discuss how we can help with your special event or to decorate the entrance of your business.

What to expect with my order if I have ordered mum(s) and/or cornstalks?

If your order includes design and set-up, we will place your mum(s) and /or cornstalk(s) for you. When placing mums, we can place them in your pots on your porch if your pots are cleared out and ready to have the mum placed in your pot. We are unable to move your pots around so please have your pots placed where you want them. If your pots are not cleared out from your summer plants for us to place your mum(s) we will place them amongst your set-up.

If you purchase cornstalks, we can place them in front of pillars or propped in front of your door. We secure cornstalks with twine. We cannot drill, nail, screw, or tape anything into the exterior of your home. If you have a cornstalk that you would like propped up against your home that is not able to be secured around a pillar with twine, we cannot guarantee that the wind will not knock them over.

Can I purchase any of the add-ons alone without purchasing a package?

No, all add-ons may only be purchased in addition to purchasing a package.

Can I choose the specific color of mum(s) with my order?

We do our very best to accommodate your color preference. Depending on availability of mum colors any given season we may not be able to guarantee a specific color. If we run into availability issues with our growers, we will be in contact with you regarding your order.
